Being creative doesn't just involve the end product. At Artful Splodgers we aim to give your child the chance to experience the process too. We encourage children to choose which activities to take part in, there is no race or pressure to make sure every child does every activity available to them. If you find your child wants to spend the entire session playing at the water table, that's fine.
When thinking about activities for our younger members, there is no expected outcome, it's all about the experience. We provide activities such as playdough, jelly, cooked spaghetti, sand and water, and let their minds and hands explore!
For older children, more structured activities are on offer. Junk modelling, glitter and glue, printing, decorating etc. All our activities are devised with the Early Years Foundation Stage in mind.
But whatever the age, the main emphasis is on fun, exploration and creativity. Children learn when they are having fun and we aim to provide an environment where they can freely express themselves in the messiest way they know how!
